We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at Parackattu Hospital. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications while providing exceptional service to our patients.
Responsiblities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal requirements and professional standards.
- Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of medication therapy.
- Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through medication therapy management.
- Monitor medication therapy for efficacy, safety, and adherence to treatment guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient profiles.
- Participate in medication reconciliation processes to promote patient safety during transitions of care.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing pharmacy practice.
- Respond to medication-related inquiries from patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
Requirement
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active pharmacist licensure in [State/Country].
