Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Orthopedic Surgeon to join our orthopedic team at Parackattu Hospitals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent orthopedic residency graduate or early-career surgeon to develop clinical expertise and contribute to the delivery of exceptional orthopedic care.
Responsiblities
- Assist senior orthopedic surgeons in surgical procedures, including trauma surgeries, joint replacements, and arthroscopic procedures.
- Conduct patient evaluations, diagnose orthopedic conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in patient care rounds, consultations, and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to orthopedic patients, including managing follow-up appointments and rehabilitation plans.
- Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic surgery techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices.
- Contribute to research projects, quality improvement initiatives, and academic activities within the orthopedic department.
Requirement
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program.
- Board eligible or board certified in orthopedic surgery.
- Strong surgical skills and a passion for orthopedic medicine.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
- Willingness to participate in on-call schedules and weekend rotations.
